I bought 1 because I was going to be installing new trim on all the doors in my house, and then got a second from my wife for christmas. It was actually a good thing. I have the first one nailed down on a lond piece of 8" wide Pine which I use to measure the length of the cut that I need. The second one I carry around with me and use to mark the door jam for measuring, and then to line up the trim for install. I reccomend using a nail gun instead of a hammer because I found you need a third hand when trying to use ...more

Did not try it with a right bladed circular saw since I now only use worm drive saws. It still works with a worm drive but there is only a small amount of procut bed under the saw. As a result you have to hold the saw up on the bed of the ProCut with a slight CCW twist of the wrist. Once you make your first cut the ProCut is customized for that saw. ...more

I have two lab-mixes and a greyound--lots of poop--but clean up is easy and quick with the Poop Hound. I bought the Bench Dog push stick for use on my table saw after a close friend had lost part of two fingers in an accident on his table saw. I have since used it to cut wide and narrow parts with great ease. I really like the device. The non-slip material on the bottom makes it very easy to control both feed and position. The handle is in a great position allowing positive control without getting in the way of my saws blade gaurd. I can see why someone would design a set like this, it sounds good in theory, but the fact of the matter is that when I am cutting wood, I only need the stick, and once I am done, I don't need this wobbly storage for either pencil or tape. Stick is really good, though I am sure there are others on the market, or the one you made yourself that serves the same purpose. My personal setup is the ProMax table, with this lift, and the Porter Cable 7518 router. I don't plan on buying another router table in this lifetime. It's rock-solid; I've run a few 3"+ panel raisers without any problem whatsoever. Long story short, it's a big hunk of cast iron that will likely outlast you.
