Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2007-12-30 Summary: Great Tool, I own 2 of them for even easier installs ... I bought 1 because I was going to be installing new trim on all the doors in my house, and then got a second from my wife for christmas. It was actually a good thing. I have the first one nailed down on a lond piece of 8" wide Pine which I use to measure the length of the cut that I need. The second one I carry around with me and use to mark the door jam for measuring, and then to line up the trim for install. I reccomend using a nail gun instead of a hammer because I found you need a third hand when trying to use ...more

[3] Rating: 4 Date: 2008-02-14 Summary: Trim-Loc Tool ... This is a handy tool that takes a bit of getting used to. Pros You put it to the casement much like a speed square It automatically gives you a 5/16 reveal You can drag it along the casement to scribe your line, if you like Is handy to push molding against to nail Grooves for automatic length measurement Con The slots for hooking rule too small for Stanley Fat Max ...more

[2] ... Review | This tool makes humans as close to foolproof as we can get, at least when it comes to measuring, cutting and installing trim without a flaw. We love that it’s a solid piece, with nothing adjustable on it, so you know its 45- and 90-degree angles are always true. It takes the gymnastics out of measuring, too, whether screwed to your workbench or temporarily tacked to the working wall with 6d finish nails, because of the built-in tape measure hooks. Even tricky inside-to-inside miters are a snap. Perfect...more

Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 4 Date: 2008-10-03 Summary: Bench Dog 10-019 ProCut and a Worm Drive Saw ... The ProCut is a great idea. Wish I had it years ago. Did not try it with a right bladed circular saw since I now only use worm drive saws. It still works with a worm drive but there is only a small amount of procut bed under the saw. As a result you have to hold the saw up on the bed of the ProCut with a slight CCW twist of the wrist. Once you make your first cut the ProCut is customized for that saw. ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-07-29 Summary: Great Tool ... I ordered this guide some time ago, but did not have a particular need at the time. However, I just obtained a job that required the cutting of several 2x 12 boards. The guide worked great and I was able to cut the boards accurately and straight with little effort. All shop should have one! ...more
[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2007-08-22 Summary: Great little tool! ... To the person who said, "why?" Because not all of us want to take the time to measure, set up clamps to hold a straight edge, just to have it slip. The directions are simple. A novice can use it. It cut down my time to make cuts by at least two-thirds. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't look down their noses at items to make woodworking easier! ...more

Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-06-29 Summary: Best Pooper Scooper there is! ... This is actually the second one I have had. I wore the first one out and HAD to get another one because it works so well. I really like how well it works and the fact that I can use plastic sacks from grocery stores, walmart, etc instead of having to buy specific bags for it. If you are looking for something that makes your pooper scooping chore easier this is it. Veterinarian recommended since my wife is a vet. ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-08-31 Summary: The BEST Pooper Scooper Ever! ... I've used plenty of different kinds of pooper scoopers, but this is absolutely the best! I have two lab-mixes and a greyound--lots of poop--but clean up is easy and quick with the Poop Hound. I use extra plastic bags from grocery shopping, and never have to even touch the bag after I've secured it in place... when it's full, I pull off the black piece of plastic which holds it in place and release the bag right into the trash can. There is very little bending over, too, which is one of the best features. This is my ...more
[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-04-29 Summary: This is a MUST have ... I was with my sister in New Orleans when she purchased the Poop Hound. It was so cool that I thought I'd purchase one to make life a little easier with our 3 dogs. It's easy to operate, no bending or stooping. No need to scoop into a poop pan then transfer to a bag; anyway if you have a rake in one hand and a poop pan in another, exactly what are you holding the bag with???? Keep in mind, you don't need to purchase special bags, we simply use grocery store bags. With the Poop Hound, you put the bag onto the device ...more

[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2007-10-30 Summary: Works Great for Bosch Router ... Bought this to install my Bosch router in the Bench Dog lift table, and it works great. It holds the router steady as a rock. But, it is hard to get the pieces to slide in and out of the table housing when I'm removing or reinstalling the router body; haven't figured out an easy way to do it, yet. ...more

Feature: ... Offset handle gets your right hand out of harm's way.; Ergonomic "no-slip" grip has the best feel.; Special handle geometry keeps Push-Loc parallel to your rep fence throughout the entire cut.; Rear tail hook secures Push-Loc to your work piece.; Rubber sole helps prevent slippage and won't mar your work piece. ...more
Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-08-10 Summary: Worth the money ... It's just a push stick right? Why spend $20 on it when I can just use a wood scrap. I've used it multiple times now and found it's much easier to control the wood and it's thin profile allows me to get it into some tight spots. The tray is definitely a gimmic, but I expected that when I bought it, so I can't hold that against the product. ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-01-07 Summary: better than I expected ... I bought the Bench Dog push stick for use on my table saw after a close friend had lost part of two fingers in an accident on his table saw. I have since used it to cut wide and narrow parts with great ease. I really like the device. The non-slip material on the bottom makes it very easy to control both feed and position. The handle is in a great position allowing positive control without getting in the way of my saws blade gaurd. I wasn't sure about buying a piece of plastic for such an important use but I was pleasantly ...more
[3] Rating: 4 Date: 2008-07-01 Summary: very good push stick, worthless base ... Maybe it's just me, but I found no use for the base. I can see why someone would design a set like this, it sounds good in theory, but the fact of the matter is that when I am cutting wood, I only need the stick, and once I am done, I don't need this wobbly storage for either pencil or tape. Stick is really good, though I am sure there are others on the market, or the one you made yourself that serves the same purpose. Again, don't get me wrong, this is a well made product, I just doubt you will use "docking station" ...more

Feature: ... Weeding tool for efficient, effective weed removal; Stand-up weeder: pulls weeds by roots quickly and easily; Durable steel construction and rustproof finishes for long-lasting wear; Long-handled, patented design allows use from standing position; includes bag clip; Limited lifetime warranty ...more
Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-07-09 Summary: effective ... I borrowed one of these from a friend to pull the dandelions from my yard and I loved how effective it was. I had to buy one of my own. I've pulled weeds with roots up to a foot long - and I didn't have to worry about using poisins near my gardens. It does leave a hole but you can fill it very easily. ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-09-30 Summary: EFFECTIVE AND VERY SIMPLE TO USE! ... Place this tool over a weed (moist soil preferable), press your foot down on the foot lever and gently pull the weed puller up (the handle seems to serve only as a convenience): Voila! The weed plus the root is extracted from the soil. Now I live in the Colorado desert and much of our residential soil contains under the surface small stones. In these areas it does not work for obvious reasons. So I am limited as to how much ground I can cover with the tool. For areas where the soil is free from under the surface stones, ...more
[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-10-15 Summary: Hound Dog is right ... It certainly does everything it claims to do. Not ever having seen or heard of this product before of course I was a bit skeptical about purchasing it. It arrived on time and in excellent condition. The time came to try it out so outside I headed. Placed the Ground Hog over a weed, stepped down and drove the Ground Hog down, gave it a twist and pulled the Ground Hog back up to eye level and there it was, the weed root and all. Released the weed into the trash bag and moved on to the next one, and the next and the next ...more

Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-11-16 Summary: My Boston Terrier loves her new Dremel! ... My Boston Terrier, Maggie, used to run away from me when I got the nail clippers out. She would pull away and sometimes cause me to cut closer to the quick than I should. Now she lays in my arms while I file her nails. It doesn't hurt her and I don't have to worry about cutting them too close, or splitting them. ...more
[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2008-11-12 Summary: Dog Nail Grooming ... I love this product much better than the one on the commercial. It doesn't leave it with a sharp edge like the commercial kind, recommend to everyone with a dog or cat. ...more

[2] ... Amazon.com | It’s a rare human who actually enjoys clipping a dog’s nails; and rarer still, the dog who enjoys it. Enter Dremel’s cordless groomer, a quiet, battery-powered rotary tool that gently grinds down your pet’s nails without cutting. We happen to know a particular hound named Sophie who’s endured more than her share of cracked nails and bleeding nail beds, the result of the standard guillotine-type nail trimmers. Though she was a bit wary of the Dremel, she sniffed at it and decided it was...more

Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-03-23 Summary: Can't buy better, could use a few tweaks ... I absolutely love this lift. My personal setup is the ProMax table, with this lift, and the Porter Cable 7518 router. I don't plan on buying another router table in this lifetime. It's rock-solid; I've run a few 3"+ panel raisers without any problem whatsoever. Long story short, it's a big hunk of cast iron that will likely outlast you. All of that being said, there's one area for improvement that I'd like to see. While I firmly believe this is a better lift than both the Woodpeckers PRL, and the new one from Incra ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-03-01 Summary: Bench Dog Prolift router lift ... I chose this router lift because everything I read about it indicated it to be a heavy duty, well made unit, and that I could, easily, swap bits from the top of the table. I am, absolutely, positively, not disappointed and anticipate years of quality use. Changing bits is easier and quicker than on any of my [several] other routers. The entire collet and lock nut is easily accessible from the table top. My apprehension about what it would take to adjust the height of the unit for bit changes and adjustments, was unwarranted. ...more
[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-05-12 Summary: I like it ... We needed a heavy duty bench mounted router system to prepare machined samples for an instrument that we sell. The Bench Dog lift sure fills the bill. So far we have purchased and installed 5 of these router lifts. The quality is superb and appears consistent from one to the next. Might be overbuilt for someone that just runs small bits, but for our very large cutting head it is perfect. ...more
Editorial Reviews — ... Product Description | If you’re tired of crawling under your router table to make adjustments, then you’re going to love the Bench Dog 40-016 ProLift Max Router System. This cleverly designed device allows you to make all height adjustments and bit changes from above, while standing comfortably at the router table. The system is particularly useful when working with large, heavy fixed-base routers.
